Yes. Commission rates are set and updated from the admin panel in real time. You can set different commission rates per service category, per city, or as a flat rate across all bookings no developer involvement needed.
Can the app support multiple cities or countries?
Yes. The admin panel lets you define which service categories are active in which cities. Providers register with a service area, and customers see only providers available in their location. Expanding to a new city is a configuration change, not a development task.
Is the language and currency configurable?
Yes. The platform supports multiple languages simultaneously and includes full RTL (right-to-left) layout support for Arabic, Hebrew, and Urdu. Currency is configurable per market. Both settings are managed from the admin panel.

What payment gateways are supported?
The script comes pre-integrated with 20+ payment gateways including Stripe, Razorpay, PayFast, Flutterwave, PayStack, and others. The available gateway list covers most major markets across North America, Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
How does the platform commission work?
You set a commission percentage in the admin panel. When a customer pays for a service, your commission is automatically deducted before the remainder is credited to the provider's in-app wallet. The rate is configurable globally or per service category.
How do service providers withdraw their earnings?
Providers request a payout from within their app. The admin reviews and approves withdrawal requests from the admin panel, then transfers the amount via the connected payout method. The withdrawal workflow and minimum threshold are both configurable.
Does the platform support wallet-based payments?
Yes. Both customers and service providers have in-app wallets. Customers can top up their wallet and use it for bookings. Providers accumulate earnings in their wallet and request withdrawals from there.
Can I charge customers a booking or convenience fee separately from the provider's rate?
Yes. The admin panel allows you to configure a separate platform fee or convenience charge that is added to the customer's checkout total. This is independent of the provider's service price and the commission you collect from the provider.

Is the customer's payment data stored securely?
Payment processing is handled entirely by the integrated third-party gateways (e.g. Stripe, Razorpay). Card details are never stored on your server. All transactions go through the gateway's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
How is user data protected on the platform?
User data is stored on your own server infrastructure. The platform uses encrypted API communication (HTTPS/SSL) between the apps and backend. Passwords are hashed and not stored in plain text. Access to admin functions is role-based and password-protected.
Does the platform have a role-based access system for admins?
Yes. The admin panel supports multiple admin roles with configurable permissions. You can create sub-admin accounts with access limited to specific functions for example, an operations team member who can manage orders but not access financial reports.

The platform is deployed on your own server infrastructure. You are not hosted on OyeLabs' servers, which means you have full control over your data, uptime, and costs. OyeLabs assists with the initial server setup and deployment as part of the go-live process.
What are the server requirements to run the TaskRabbit clone?
A standard cloud VPS with at least 4GB RAM, 2 CPU cores, and 50GB SSD storage is sufficient for a launch-stage deployment. As your user base grows, the infrastructure can be scaled vertically or horizontally. AWS, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, and similar providers all work.
How long does deployment take?
Deployment takes 7 business days from the time branding assets and server access are provided. This includes white-labeling, environment setup, app configuration, and basic testing before handover.
Will the app be published on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store?
The deployment process includes preparing the app builds for store submission. You will need your own Google Play developer account and Apple Developer account to publish. OyeLabs assists with the build preparation; app store approval timelines are determined by Google and Apple respectively.
Can I self-host the admin panel separately from the app backend?
